Put Energy Leadership to Work for You

I remember the breakthrough that a client of mine had during our work together.

He told me that he wanted to leave the job where he has been for several years. While the work was deeply meaningful to him, he felt limited and lacked fulfillment from it. He came to coaching to have a partner help him build a strategy for finding inspiring work in a new industry.

I introduced him to Energy Leadership™, explaining how energy is neither “good” nor “bad.” Higher levels of energy lead to awareness of more possibilities and opportunities, while lower levels narrow perspective and limit choices.

He connected the dots between his energy and his relationships to his role, work, and team. He became more aware of all the choices available to him versus the single path that he was on. These ranged from leaving to making the changes necessary in his current job to create the environment and opportunity that he craved at work.

He recognized all the positives that were already in his current role. He was motivated to maximize his efforts with his team to address what he wanted to improve.

When you raise your energy, you become “unstuck” and can see options that previously weren’t available to you.
